As we remember them, the world wants to heal

Drowning in despair
We are tied together
Broken families
Broken lives
Broken hearts

They hover over us-the departed
Watching as we pray for them
Waiting for us to find a way forward
Trying to understand today’s hate,
Today’s wars - not just for us
But for so many many more

The whole world
Is patched together
With fraying tape
Looking for answers to the pain,
To the desperation

We seek new paths
For understanding the why
Yet, does that really matter anymore
The world wants healing
The world needs to heal
The world needs to find a way

May the Infinite shine
A Light to the ways, to the paths
For positive change

May we do the work
We have been tasked
To do - 
To make the world
A fair and just place
To “know” the other
To hear, to listen, to act
To Love, to love again,
Again and again
This is the only path to 
Redemption for those who have
Passed, and for our future,
Not war, not hate
