As we remember them

They hover over us —
the departed.
Watching as we pray ;
waiting for us.

To find a way forward,
the whole world
is patched together
with fraying tape
looking for answers
to the desperation —

drowning in despair.
We are tied together:
broken families,
broken lives,
broken hearts.

We seek new paths
for understanding the why.
Yet, does that really matter anymore?
The world wants healing.
The world needs to heal.
The world needs to find a way.

May the Infinite shine
Light onto the paths
for positive change.

Seeing through the darkness
may we do the work
we have been tasked
to do —

to make the world
a fair and just place.
To hear, to listen, to act.
To love, to love again,
again and again —
shedding our light.

This is the only path to
Redemption, for those who have
passed, and for our future —

not war; Not hate.
