Today I gained faith
toward knowing love—
this morning I met
the Sovereign of the Universe.

Convex lines of energy
slowly descended in front of me,
layers of light surrounding my neck,
shoulders, and back.

There was an energy
that hovered over me,
aware that this knowing
is always there.

Bowing to the majesty
of the human spirit,
crying as the Shekinah
welcomed me.

I see the world through a sight
that hovers above my head,
an awareness that all is perfect—
quite exquisite, calm, and joyful.

An awareness of something,
perhaps a nothingness,
that is greater than me,
that words cannot express.

I can’t will any of this.
It just is; it comes and goes.
Bowing in my heart and mind
to the Sovereign of the Universe.

Moments mundane
