Sadness and Light

Trying to write a poem 
about my sadness -

The fear is palpable as I 
think about the future.

Having no answers to this 
not spending time in blame
all I can do is feel 
sadness and pain.

Trying to put my thoughts aside
to see if joy lives inside,
feels so far away,  
but maybe, maybe today.  

There is light through the darkness
or so we say.
Believe it for sure though
cloudiness hides the way. 

In my heart
feeling the calm touching joy
where the small voice waits,
it took just a moment to find,
as grace led the way
