Asking to be more vulnerable
I hear Your sound—
calling me to be more humble,
alive in ways never known before

I ache to be here for You,
knowing Your love has always been

Here I am,
ready the next step—
please, don’t be too hard on me
let me take a step at a time

God heard me loud and clear
You showed me
where I needed to do better,
where my double crankiness
left its mark on others

Asking to ready the next step—
You certainly did

Letting go can only happen
if I trust what is there

In reflection, I listened
and saw where I need to heal

It felt like You made it too hard,
but that was only the shame
I didn’t want to feel

In love with You,
my faith grows

Tears abound

Grateful for today’s lessons…
