Because

I've spent 70 years
just trying to be human —
learning, failing, becoming.

I've messed up
more times than I can count.

But I’m still here,
and I’ll keep going.

Because — and not just because —
the world is a better place because
I am in it.
Even more so,
because we are in it together.
