Each and Every

Sometimes we say:

“I am here,”
and that's all we can do.

It’s the best we can do
and that’s okay.

Every yes brings a smile,
each no takes us deeper ,
coming closer to awakening —

Not as permanent enlightenment.

For then the journey begins —

every experience given
to know the Self,
each rejection closer to awakening.

Suffering slows,
every acceptance becomes Grace.

Joy enlightens.

Without
