A Poem in Five parts

I

Dark silence.
    Blackened root.
    Tea leaves read,
    realization
  found.

II
 

Blessings
   whispered.
    Did I listen?
    The turtle
    crossed the road.

III

 Earthbound —
   the Eternal story
    of consciousness.
   Our internal story
    of Awareness.

IV

Mood clouds
    passing through.
    2 billion years of
    blue sky —
never gone.

V

 It’s not far
    from Here now —
    knowing the One.
The One
    always near.

Parts 1 & 2 came in the middle of the night, parts 3 & 4 inspired by the poet David Whyte, part 5 brings it back home
