I Am Not Real
I am not real,
Only a dream—
An illusion
Pointing to reality
That the Divine lives within.
An illusion,
Not without purpose,
Bringing us to
Truth—Is that not
The point of this dream?
Einstein told the middle
School children:
They asked,
“How can we become like you?”
He said,
“Read fairy tales.”
They asked,
“How can we become greater than you?”
He said again,
“Read fairy tales.”
Not to escape—
But to awaken wonder.
That is where imagination dwells—
The doorway to more
Than who you think you are.
