5 Quintets about the Unknown

i don't understand what God is, 
only what i've been told,
what i do know 
is that i am in love with
the Unknown. 

in love with God, 
traveling the unpaved roads,
grazing in the fields that you do not know,
fill the roads with silver and gold as 
your heart roams those fields Unknown.

the Unknown is in my heart,
carried through the day,
don't know much,
yet i still pray, 
asking Hashem to guide the way.

lying in bed at night
this is what i really say - 
“here i am, here i am, here i am,
i love you God,”
nothing else needs to be said. 

getting out of bed this
and every day,
my heart open and again i say -
“here i am, here i am, here i am,”
i am in love with you Hashem.
